About.

Our Program Is Free

CMJC seeks to provide a Christian environment where men gain job skills for employment in order to enhance their lives and the lives of their families. However, you do not have to be a Christian to attend.

We can help you reach your potential and find a meaningful career. We offer fall and spring classes for four different vocational tracks. Tracks are available at different times depending on availability. Some tracks require pre-approval to enter the course. If you don’t have a degree, or you can’t pass a criminal background check, then you need to give us a call. We can help.

To apply, either complete and submit an application online, or print and bring completed forms to our office at 902 S.E. Stallings Dr., Suite 4, Nacogdoches, TX 75964. A few weeks here can change your life!

Would you like a new job? Do you need certification or computer skills?

Christian Men’s Job Corps (CMJC) will meet you right where you are. We will walk with you to help you reach your potential and find a meaningful career. We offer both a spring and a fall semester. We also offer the following related Job and Life Skills.
01. High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED)

Students who need to obtain a High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) are able to benefit from one-on-one Math and English tutoring by our group of trained volunteers and instructors from Angelina College. The HSED tutoring program is considered equivalent to a regular high school diploma, and can be earned even after dropping out of high school. There are no entrance requirements for adults who wish to take the course.

02. Job Readiness Course

Students will take courses in basic computer skills, job search skills, resume preparation, interview techniques, and communications. These classes are designed to provide an array of experiences to allow our graduates to compete in the job market and create a better life for themselves and their families.

03. Life Skills Training

CMJC students can also receive Anger Management courses, Money and Investment classes, Entrepreneur instruction, and most importantly Bible study. Students will also have access to interview-appropriate clothing.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Want to help the men in our community and their families? Then help us teach them how to fish and they will never go hungry. There are so many wonderful programs for our kids and women, but men struggle to find a place where they can succeed. At CMJC we want to build a strong foundation of hope and knowledge. Help us give these guys a hand up, not a hand out.

Do you like to Coach? A mentor shares with a mentee (or protege) information about his own career path, as well as provide guidance, motivation, emotional support, and role modeling. As a mentor you can help students explore different career ideas, help them set goals, develop contacts, and identifying resources.

Volunteer
One can be an instructor of just about anything, especially when you are teaching hands-on skills like we are. Much of our course work is hands on, but we do have some book work and we need men like you to help. Do you like to teach or do you have a special skill or talent you can share? Then sign up today to help teach.

Volunteer

Our Lead Associates are the backbone of our organization. They conduct mock interviews, provide transportation, help instructors teach in their class, handle mass communication, provide meals, and other various duties too numerous to name. These guys care about guys and they do what is needed to help their brothers out.
